The high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC processor that powers the STM32F469xx devices operates at a frequency of up to 180 MHz. A floating point unit (FPU) single precision is a characteristic of the Cortex®-M4 core that supports all Arm® single-precision data-processing instructions and data formats. Additionally, it incorporates a memory protection unit (MPU) that improves program security together with the whole range of DSP instructions. The STM32F469xx devices have a wide range of upgraded I/Os and peripherals coupled with high-speed embedded memories (Flash memory up to 2 Mbytes, up to 384 Kbytes of SRAM), connected to two APB buses, two AHB buses, and a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix. Each device has a genuine random number generator, two general-purpose 32-bit timers, twelve general-purpose 16-bit timers, three 12-bit ADCs, two DACs, a low-power RTC, and two PWM timers for motor control (RNG). They also include both conventional and cutting-edge communication interfaces:
