STM32L083V8T6 Description
The high-performance Arm Cortex-M0+ 32-bit RISC core operating at a 32 MHz frequency, a memory protection unit (MPU), high-speed embedded memories (up to 192 Kbytes of Flash program memory, 6 Kbytes of data EEPROM, and 20 Kbytes of RAM), as well as a wide range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals, are all included in the ultra-low-power STM32L083V8T6 microcontroller.
High power efficiency is offered by the STM32L083V8T6 device for a variety of performance. A wide variety of internal and external clock sources, an internal voltage adaption, and numerous low-power modes are used to achieve it.
The STM32L083V8T6 device has a number of analog features, including a 12-bit ADC with hardware oversampling, two DACs, two ultra-low-power comparators, AES, and several timers, including one lowpower timer (LPTIM), four general-purpose 16-bit timers, two basic timers, an RTC, and an optional SysTick that can serve as a timebase. They also have two watchdogs: a window watchdog based on bus clock and a watchdog with separate clock and window functionality.
The STM32L083V8T6 device also incorporates both conventional and cutting-edge communication interfaces, including up to three I2Cs, two SPIs, one I2S, four USARTs, a low-power UART (LPUART), and a crystal-free USB. The gadgets allow you to easily add touch sensing capability to any application thanks to their up to 24 capacitive sensing channels.
A real-time clock and several backup registers are also included in the STM32L083V8T6 and are powered even when the device is in standby mode.
The integrated LCD controller's LCD voltage generator, which can drive up to 8 multiplexed LCDs with contrast independent of supply voltage, is the last feature.
When using a 1.8 to 3.6 V power supply with BOR or a 1.65 to 3.6 V power supply without BOR option, the ultra-low-power STM32L083V8T6 device can run (down to 1.65 V at power down). They come in temperature ranges from -40 to +125 °C. Low-power applications can be designed thanks to a wide range of power-saving modes.
