STM8AF5288TAY Description


The STM8AF5288TAY automotive 8-bit microcontroller is an integrated true data EEPROM with 32 Kbytes to 128 Kbytes of nonvolatile memory. High-density STM8A devices are what they are known as in the STM8S series and STM8AF series 8-bit microcontrollers reference handbook (RM0016).

CAN interface is a feature of the STM8AF52 family.

The STM8A product line's devices all offer the following advantages: lower system costs, performance and resilience, quick development times, and long product lifespans.

An integrated real data EEPROM with up to 300 k write/erase cycles and a high level of system integration with internal clock oscillators, watchdog, and brown-out reset lower the system cost.

The 20 MIPS at 24 MHz CPU clock frequency and improved characteristics, such as strong I/O, independent watchdogs (with a separate clock source), and a clock security mechanism, guarantee device performance.

Due to application scalability over a common family product architecture with compatible pinout, memory map, and modular peripherals, short development cycles are ensured.

A large selection of development tools is available with full documentation.

The STM8A family's advanced core, created using cutting-edge technology for automotive applications with 3.3 V to 5.5 V operating supply, ensures the longevity of their products.

The STVD/STVP programming environment, the STice emulator, and a low-cost, third-party in-circuit debugging tool are all supported for all STM8A and ST7 microcontrollers.
