T1250-600G-TR Description
The T1250-600G-TR is a 12 A Snubberless™, logic level and standard Triac. The T1250-600G-TR Triac series, which is available in through-hole or surface mount packages, is appropriate for general-purpose mains power AC switching. In applications like static relays, heating control, or induction motor starting circuits, they can be employed as an ON/OFF function. They are also advised for phase control functions in speed controllers for appliance motors and light dimmers.
Because of their superior commutation performance, the Snubberless™ versions (W suffix and T12xx) are especially suggested for use on inductive loads. The Snubberless™ series offers an insulated tab (certified at 2500 VRMS) in accordance with UL standards by utilizing an internal ceramic pad (file reference: E81734).
Low holding current is provided by Logic Level BTA12-600TW and BTA12-600SW, making them perfect for designing light dimmers for LED lighting.
