VN540SPTR-E Description
The monolithic VN540SP-E was created using STMicroelectronics VIPower technology and is meant to drive inductive or resistive loads with one side grounded. In the event of a shorted load, active current restriction prevents the system power supply from failing. Thermal shutdown included into the chip guards against overheating. Overtemperature situations are indicated by the open drain diagnostic output.
