Packaged with a Tape & Reel (TR) are NTC thermistors. In the Radial package, it is included as a convenience. Temperatures below 170°C are required for reliable NTC thermistors. In order to maintain reliability, NTC thermistors can operate at a temperature below -55°C. In order for the NTC thermistors to function correctly, the 2 pins must be connected. It is possible to operate the NTC thermistors at a maximum current of 3.2A without too much degradation of the fuse elements.
