NTC thermistors are designed to operate reliably at temperatures below 170°C. In order to preserve reliability, NTC thermistors should not be operated at temperatures below -55°C. The NTC thermistors must have the 2 pins connected for them to work properly. Fuse elements can withstand currents as low as 6.4A without suffering much damage.
