The IAH12040A007V-007-R is a 150W, 40A Non-isolated SMT Point of Load. Non-isolated point-of-load (POL) dc-dc converters are replacing venerable brick-style isolated dc-dc converters for generating the variety of voltages needed by today's pc boards since they are smaller and less expensive. They also offer performance improvements since their compact size enables them to be positioned physically near their load.
