DP83867IRRGZT Description
The DP83867 device supports the 10BASE-Te, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet protocols and is a reliable, low-power, fully featured Physical Layer transceiver with integrated PMD sublayers. The DP83867 surpasses 8-kV IEC 61000-4-2 and is designed for ESD protection (direct contact).
The DP83867 is made to make setting up 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet LANs simple. It utilizes an external transformer to interface with twisted pair media directly. Through the IEEE 802.3 Standard Media Independent Interface (MII), the IEEE 802.3 Gigabit Media Independent Interface (GMII), or the Reduced GMII, this device connects directly to the MAC layer (RGMII). While the QFN package only supports RGMII, the QFP package supports MII, GMII, and RGMII.
