DRV8711DCP Description


DRV8711DCP is a kind of step motor controller IC that uses external N-channel MOSFETs to drive a bipolar stepper motor or two brushed DC motors. A 1/256-Step microstepping indexer is integrated. It provides overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature protection based on its internal shutdown functions. A nFAULT pin is used to indicate the fault conditions which are reported through a dedicated bit through SPI pin.
