Description
The ISO224BDWVR is a precision isolated amplifier with an isolation barrier that separates the output from the input circuitry and provides great immunity to magnetic interference. This barrier has been tested and approved to provide reinforced galvanic isolation of up to 5 kVRMS with a long lifetime and low power dissipation.
When utilized with an isolated power supply, this device protects lower-voltage devices by separating elements of the system that run on various common-mode voltage levels.
The ISO224BDWVR's input has been tuned for accurate detecting of ±10-volt signals, which are commonly utilized in industrial applications. On the high side, the gadget is powered by a single source. This one-of-a-kind feature simplifies the isolated power supply's design and lowers the system's cost. System-level diagnostics are made easier with the built-in high-side supply voltage sensing feature. The ISO224BDWVR's ±4-volt output enables the use of lower-cost analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The output's differential topology ensures strong noise tolerance.
The ISO224BDWVR is offered in a wide-body 8-pin SOIC (DWV) package and is fully specified over the extended industrial temperature range of –55°C to +125°C.
