It uses the Tape & Reel (TR) package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. As you can see, this harley voltage regulator contains 20 terminations. As a matter of fact, the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with is called SWITCHING REGULATOR.
