This harley voltage regulator utilizes the Tube package for optimized performance. There are 14 terminations in this harley voltage regulator. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. Due to DC DC switching regulator's space saving design, this voltage regulator is available in a 14-SOIC (0.295, 7.50mm Width) package.
