This harley voltage regulator utilizes the Tube package for optimized performance. There are 7 terminations in this voltage regulator. There are two types of analog ICs on this voltage regulator. The first type is a SWITCHING REGULATOR-type IC. In order to save space, this voltage regulator is packaged in the TO-263-8, D2Pak (7 Leads + Tab), TO-263CA package.
