LM258AP Overview


The linear amplifier is packaged in a 8-DIP (0.300, 7.62mm) case which makes it easy for the consumer to handle. There are two types of operational amplifiers in this circuit. A Tube case is used for delivering the op amp. There is a growing number of terminations approaching the number of 8. In this case, there are 8 pins on the board. Please take in mind that op amp should be run at 5V. It should be noted that this type of buffer amplifier is exactly what is known as a Operational Amplifier device.
