This harley voltage regulator utilizes the Tube package for optimized performance. This harley voltage regulator has 5 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the TO-220-5 Formed Leads package. There are 1 outputs on DC DC switching regulator. As you can see, this DC DC switching regulator generates Adjustable output on its output pins. As the name implies, this voltage regulator 12v is designed for mounting on a Through Hole bracket. As long as its operating temperature is -40°C~125°C TJ, dc to dc voltage regulator should perform well. A DC-DC switching regulator such as this one switches at 150kHz.
