A Tape & Reel (TR) package is used in this voltage regulator to optimize performance. In this voltage regulator, there are 16 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs on this voltage regulator. The first type is a SWITCHING REGULATOR-type IC. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the 16-WFDFN Exposed Pad package. There are 1 outputs on DC DC switching regulator. DC DC switching regulators like this one generate Adjustable outputs on their output pins to handle the power management. A Surface Mount mounting is required for this switching regulator. During switching regulator operation, the operating temperature should remain at -40°C~125°C TJ. A DC-DC switching regulator of this type operates at a switching frequency of 260kHz. Input voltage 6.5V is the dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage required for operation of the voltage regulators. Voltage regulator has a maximum input voltage of 40V. Due to its 235 high peak reflow temperature, this voltage regulator 12v is virtually indestructible.
