It uses the Tube package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. A SWITCHING REGULATOR analog IC is used in this voltage regulator 12v, which is the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the TO-263-8, D2Pak (7 Leads + Tab), TO-263CA package. There are 1 outputs configured on the voltage regulator.
