LM5163QDDARQ1 Description
LM5163QDDARQ1 distribution switches are suitable for applications that require precise current limiting or encounter heavy capacitive loads and short circuits. These devices provide a programmable current limiting threshold between 500 mA and 5 A (typical) through external resistors. The rise and fall time of the power switch is controlled to minimize the current surge during turn-on and turn-off. When the output load exceeds the current limiting threshold, the TPS255x device will switch to constant current mode, thus limiting the output current to a safe level. Under the condition of overcurrent and overheating, the fault logic output is low.
