LMR14050SDDA Product Details
LMR14050SDDA Description
The LMR14050SDDA is a step-down regulator with a high-side MOSFET that operates at 40 V and 5 A. It's appropriate for a variety of applications ranging from industrial to automotive for power conditioning from unregulated sources, with a wide input range of 4 V to 40 V. In Sleep mode, the regulator's quiescent current is 40 μA, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. In shutdown mode, a very low 1μA current can extend battery life even further. The switching frequency range can be adjusted to maximize either efficiency or the size of external components.
Internal loop compensation relieves the user of the time-consuming effort of designing loop compensation. This also reduces the device's exterior components. Regulator control and system power sequencing can be simplified with a precision enable input. A cycle-by-cycle current restriction, temperature detection and shutdown owing to excessive power dissipation, and output overvoltage protection are all included in the device.
