LMR14050SDDAR Product Details
LMR14050SDDAR Simple Switcher Description
The LMR14050DDAR simple switcher is a 40 V, 5 A step-down regulator with a high-side MOSFET integrated. With a wide input range of 4 V to 40 V, it is suitable for power conditioning from unregulated sources in a variety of applications ranging from industrial to automotive. In Sleep mode, the regulator's quiescent current is 40 A, making it suitable for battery-powered systems. In shutdown mode, an ultra-low 1 A current can further extend battery life. A wide adjustable switching frequency range allows for the optimization of either efficiency or external component size. Internal loop compensation relieves the user of the time-consuming task of designing loop compensation. This also reduces the device's external components. The LMR14050 also includes built-in safety features such as cycle-by-cycle current limitation, thermal sensing and shutdown due to excessive power dissipation, and output overvoltage protection.
