A single external capacitor can be used to implement the LP2987/8 fixed-output 200 mA precision LDO voltage regulators with power-ON reset delay. The LP2988 was created especially for noise-sensitive applications. Regulator output noise is reduced by a single external capacitor linked to the Bypass pin. These regulators provide higher performance by employing a VIP (Vertically Integrated PNP) method that has been optimized.
