LP3974RMX/NOPB Description
LP3974RMX/NOPB is a type of high-performance power management unit specifically designed to meet the power management requirements of the latest cellular phones. It is integrated with an I2C-compatible high-speed Serial Interface controlling the program on/off conditions and the output voltages of individual regulators. It is able to charge and maintain a single cell Li-Ion battery operating from an AC adapter or USB power source with minimum external components. The PMU can be protected by Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) circuit at the charger input from input voltages up to +28V, therefore, the need for any external protection circuitry can be eliminated.
