LP8863ADCPRQ1 Description
The LP8863-Q1 is a high-efficiency LED driver for automobiles with a boost controller. Phase shifting is supported by the six high-precision current sinks, which is automatically adjusted depending on the number of channels in use. The brightness of the current sink can be regulated individually and worldwide using the SPI or I2C interface; the brightness can also be controlled globally using the PWM input.
The boost controller offers adaptive output voltage regulation based on the LED current sinks' headroom voltages. In all scenarios, this feature reduces power consumption by reducing the voltage to the lowest sufficient level. The LP8863-Q1 uses a wide-range tunable frequency to avoid AM radio band interference.
