MSP430AFE253IPWR Description
The TI MSP line of ultra-low-power microcontrollers consists of a number of components with varied peripherals geared toward different applications. In portable measurement applications, the architecture is tailored to achieve longer battery life through the use of five low-power modes. The system includes a potent 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that help the code run as efficiently as possible. The device may transition from low-power modes to active modes in less than one second thanks to the digitally controlled oscillator (DCO).
Three separate 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs, a 16-bit timer, a 16-bit hardware multiplier, a USART communication interface, a watchdog timer, and 11 I/O pins are all included within the MSP430AFE2x3 devices, which are ultra-low-power mixed signal microcontrollers.
