MSP430G2232IPW20 Description
The MSP430G2232IPW20 family of ultra-low-power microcontrollers from Texas Instruments consists of a number of components with various peripherals geared toward diverse applications. In portable measurement applications, the architecture and five low-power modes are optimized to extend battery life. The system includes a potent 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that help the code run as efficiently as possible.
In less than one second, the digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) enables wake-up from low-power modes to active mode.
Ultra-low-power mixed signal microcontrollers with integrated 16-bit timers, up to 16 I/O touch sense enabled pins, and built-in communication using the universal serial bus are the MSP430G2x32 and MSP430G2x02 series. The 10-bit A/D converter is part of the MSP430G2x32 family. Low-cost sensor systems that record analog signals, transform them into digital values, and then process the data for display or transmission to a host system are typical uses.
