Packaging for the buffer amplifier is in the form of a SOT-23-8 case. General Purpose-type instrumentation amplifiers are used in this application. A Tape & Reel (TR) case is used for delivering the op amp. There is a growing number of terminations approaching the number of 8. Linear amplifier has a total of 8 pins.
