The linear amplifier is packaged in a 8-SOIC (0.209, 5.30mm Width) case which makes it easy for the consumer to handle. A J-FET-type buffer amplifier is shown here. As far as the packaging is concerned, buffer op amp is delivered in a Cut Tape (CT) case. There is a growing number of terminations approaching the number of 8.
