The linear amplifier is packaged in a 14-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) case which makes it easy for the consumer to handle. Buffer amps of this type are called General Purpose-types. As far as the packaging is concerned, buffer op amp is delivered in a Tube case. There is a growing number of terminations approaching the number of 14.
