The TMS320F28027DAS is a 32-bit Piccolo Microcontroller that combines the power of the C28xTM core with highly integrated control peripherals in devices with a low pin count. This family is backwards compatible with earlier C28x-based programming and offers a high level of analogue integration. Single-rail operation is enabled with an inbuilt voltage regulator. The HRPWM module has been improved to allow for dual-edge control (frequency modulation). Analogue comparators with internal 10-bit references have been introduced, and they can be used to regulate the PWM outputs directly. The ADC has a fixed full-scale range of 0 to 3.3V and supports ratio-metric VREFHI/VREFLO references. The ADC interface has been designed with minimum overhead and delay in mind.
