TPS25940ARVCR Product Details
TPS25940ARVCR Description
The TPS25940ARVCR eFuse Power Switch is a small, feature-rich power management device with a full array of protection features, including a low-power DevSleepTM mode for SATATM Device Sleep compliance. Many common DC bus voltages can be controlled thanks to the wide operating range. The device is ideally suited for systems having load-side holdup energy that must not drain back to a failed supply bus due to integrated back-to-back FETs providing bidirectional current regulation.
Many programmable features are available for load, source, and device safety, including overcurrent, dVo/dt ramp, and overvoltage and Undervoltage thresholds. The device outputs PGOOD, FLT, and exact current monitor for system status monitoring and downstream load control. Undervoltage and overvoltage thresholds that may be precisely programmed, as well as the low IQ DevSleep mode, make SSD power management design easier.
When V(IN) (V(OUT) - 10 mV), the TPS25940ARVCR monitors V(IN) and V(OUT) to provide true reverse current blocking. In systems where the backup voltage is higher than the bus voltage, this function allows for a quick switchover to a boosted voltage energy storage element.
