TPS54120RGYR Description
The TPS54120RGYR creates an ultra-low-noise power supply that offers quiet power rails to noise-sensitive applications by fusing a step-down switching (dc-dc) converter with a high power supply rejection (PSR), low-noise, low-dropout regulator (LDO). The TPS54120RGYR is perfectly suited for systems with 12-V power buses since it has a wide input range of 4.5 V to 17 V and offers a 1-A continuous output current. Using external resistors, the output voltage can be adjusted from 0.8 V to 6.0 V. Due to the TPS54120RGYR's fully programmable dc-dc converter and LDO, it can be employed in a variety of low-noise applications. The TPS54120RGYR also has features including a power-good signal, switching frequency synchronization, and soft start.
