TPS54525PWPR Description
An adaptive on-time D-CAP2TM mode synchronous buck converter is the TPS54525. The TPS54525 provides system designers with an affordable, low component count, and low standby current solution to finish the suite of various end equipment's power bus regulators. The main control loop for the TPS54525 uses the D-CAP2? mode control which provides a very fast transient response with no external compensation components. Additionally, the TPS54525 features a proprietary circuit that enables it to support ceramic capacitors with ultra-low equivalent series resistance (ESR) as well as output capacitors with low equivalent series resistance (ESR), such POSCAP or SPCAP. The VIN input range for this device is 4.5 to 18. Programmable range for the output voltage is 0.76 V to 5.5 V.
