Description
An easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC-DC converter, the TPS560430XDBVR, can drive up to 600 mA of load current. The device can condition power from an unregulated source for a variety of applications, from industrial to automotive, and has a wide input range of 4 V to 36 V.
For either high efficiency or small solution size, the TPS560430XDBVR is available in 1.1-MHz and 2.1-MHz operating frequency versions. In order to maintain consistent frequency and minimal output voltage ripple across the whole load range, the TPS560430XDBVR also comes in a forced PWM (FPWM) version. Internally designed compensation and soft-start circuits make it possible to utilize the device with the fewest external components possible.
