TPS562201DDCR Step-Down Converter Description
The TPS562201 is a 2-A synchronous step-down converter in a SOT-23 package that is simple and easy to use. The device is optimized to operate with the fewest external component counts while also achieving a low standby current.
This switch-mode power supply (SMPS) device uses D-CAP2 mode control, which provides a fast transient response while also supporting low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors such as specialty polymer and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors without the use of external compensation components.
The TPS562201 operates in pulse skip mode, which ensures high efficiency even under light load conditions. The TPS562201 and TPS562208 are available in a 6-pin 1.6 2.9 (mm) SOT (DDC) package with junction temperatures ranging from –40°C to 125°C.
