ICs such as this voltage regulator are capable of generating Fixed outputs through their output pins. The voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting hole. This voltage regulator 12v should operate at a temperature of -40°C~125°C TJ when operating. 50kHz is the switching frequency of this DC-DC switching regulator. The output voltage of this voltage regulator (Min/Fixed) amounts to -Vin 2Vin Vin/2 volts. As a result of its peak reflow temperature, this voltage regulator is virtually indestructible. To meet the switching regulator operation requirements, a nominal input voltage of 5V is provided. DC/DC regulators such as this one belong to the TPS60402 family of products.
