TPS62162DSGR Description
The TPS62162DSGR is a simple to use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter designed for high power density applications. By utilizing the DCS-ControlTM topology, a high switching frequency of generally 2.25 MHz allows for the use of tiny inductors and delivers a fast transient response as well as good output voltage accuracy.
The devices are well-suited for systems driven by Li-Ion or other batteries, as well as 12-V intermediate power rails, thanks to their wide operating input voltage range of 3 V to 17 V. It can deliver up to 1 amp of continuous output current at output voltages ranging from 0.9 to 6 volts (with 100 percent duty cycle mode). Configuring the enable and open-drain power good pins allows for power sequencing.
