The TPS62172DSGT device family consists of simple to use synchronous step-down DC-DC converters that are targeted for high power density applications. By utilizing the DCS-ControlTM topology, a high switching frequency of generally 2.25 MHz enables for the use of compact inductors and delivers fast transient response as well as good output voltage accuracy.
