As a matter of fact, the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with is called SWITCHING REGULATOR. In order to save space, this voltage regulator is packaged in the SOT-23-5 Thin, TSOT-23-5 package. DC DC switching regulator is configured with 1 outputs. Adjustable outputs are generated on the output pins of this adjusting voltage regulator. There is a switching regulator that is compatible with the Surface Mount mounting. -40°C~85°C TA should be the operating temperature when voltage regulator is operating. 1.25MHz is the switching frequency of this DC-DC switching regulator. As shown in the table below, adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 0.7V. Due to its 260 high peak reflow temperature, this voltage regulator 12v is virtually indestructible.
