TPS73HD301PWPRG4 Description
Dual voltage regulators in the TPS73HD3xx family provide exceptionally low dropout voltages and two outputs in a small package. These devices, which are primarily made for DSP applications, can be utilized in any mixed-output voltage application and each regulator can support up to 750 mA of current. Many of the DSPs used today can be powered by the output current that can be distributed as desired between the two regulators. In battery-powered applications, low quiescent current and extremely low dropout voltage guarantee maximum power consumption. If suitable device mounting procedures are followed, Texas Instruments PowerPAD TSSOP packaging enables operation of these devices with any voltage/current combination within the range of the given specifications without experiencing thermal issues. The designer can customize the source power using separate inputs.
