Description
The low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator TPS74801TDRCRQ1 is an easy-to-use, reliable power management solution for a wide range of applications. By decreasing capacitive inrush current on startup, user-programmable soft-start reduces stress on the input power supply. The soft-start is consistent, making it ideal for powering a wide range of processors and ASICs. The enabled input and power-good output make external regulators easy to sequence. The customer can create a solution that fulfills the sequencing needs of FPGAs, DSPs, and other applications with particular start-up requirements thanks to this total freedom.
Overload, line, temperature, and process, a precision reference and error amplifier provide 2% accuracy. The device is completely defined from –40°C to +125°C and is stable with any type of capacitor higher than or equal to 2.2μF. The TPS74801TDRCRQ1 is available in a 3mm × 3mm SON-10 packaging, resulting in a very tiny total solution size. For compatibility with the TPS74401, it's also available in a 5 × 5 QFN-20 package.
