Description
The TPS7A3301RGWR linear regulator is a negative voltage (–36 V), ultralow-noise (16-μVRMS, 72-dB PSRR) linear regulator capable of sourcing a maximum load of 1 A.
To support user-customizable power management methods, the TPS7A3301RGWR has a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) logic-level compatible enable pin (EN). Other capabilities to protect the device and system during fault conditions include built-in current limit and thermal shutdown mechanisms.
For high-accuracy, high-precision instrumentation applications, where clean voltage rails are essential to maximizing system performance, the TPS7A3301RGWR is created using bipolar technology. Because of this property, it is perfect for supplying power to high-performance analog circuitry such as operational amplifiers, ADCs, and DACs.
The linear regulator TPS7A3301RGWR is also appropriate for post-DC-DC converter regulation. In sensitive instrumentation, medical, test and measurement, audio, and RF applications, maximum system performance is guaranteed by filtering out the output voltage ripple inherent to DC-DC switching conversion.
You should also take into account the TPS7A3301RGWR positive high-voltage, ultralow-noise, low dropout linear regulator for applications that call for both positive and negative high-performance rails.
