Description
The TPS7A9201DSKR is a low-noise (4.8 μVRMS), low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator capable of sourcing 2 A with only 180 mV of dropout.
With the help of external resistors, the TPS7A9201DSKR output can be changed from 0.8 V to 5.2 V. The wide input-voltage range of the operation of the TPS7A9201DSKR permit between 1.4 V and 6.5 V.
The TPS7A9201DSKR is the best option for powering delicate analog low-voltage devices, including voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs), analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), high-end processors, and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), thanks to its 1 percent output voltage accuracy (over the line, load, and temperature) and soft-start capabilities to reduce inrush current.
The TPS7A9201DSKR is made to power components that are sensitive to noise, such as those used in applications for high-speed communication, video, medical equipment, or test and measurement. Phase noise and clock jitter are reduced by the wideband PSRR (40 dB at 1 MHz) and extremely low 4.6-μVRMS output noise. These characteristics increase the efficiency of clocking devices, ADCs, and DACs.
