TPS7B8250QDRVRQ1 Description
In the application of automobile battery connection, low static current (IQ) is very important to save electricity and prolong battery life. For systems that are always online, ultra-low IQ must be included. The TPS7B8250QDRVRQ1 is a low dropout linear regulator that operates over a wide input voltage range of 3 V to 40 V (45 V load dump protection). When the operating voltage drops to 3 V, the TPS7B82-Q1 can continue to operate under cold crank and start and stop conditions. The typical static current of the device at light load is only 2.7microampere, making it the best solution to power the microcontroller (MCU) and CAN/LIN transceiver in the standby system. The device has integrated short-circuit and over-current protection functions. The device operates at ambient temperatures from-40 °C to + 125 °C and junction temperatures from-40 °C to + 150 °C. In addition, the device uses a thermal package to achieve continuous operation even if there is significant heat dissipation throughout the device. Because of these characteristics, the equipment is designed as a power supply for various automotive applications.
