UA78L08AILP Product Details

UA78L08AILP Description

The UA78L08AILP is characterized for operation over the virtual junction temperature range of 0°C to 125°C. This line of integrated circuit voltage regulators with fixed voltage is made for a variety of uses. Among these uses is on-card regulation, which reduces noise and the distribution issues brought on by single-point regulation. Additionally, they are able to create high-current voltage regulators when combined with power-pass components. One of these regulators has an output current capacity of up to 100 mA. These regulators are essentially impervious to overload thanks to their inbuilt limiting and thermal-shutdown characteristics. An effective improvement in output impedance can be obtained, along with decreased bias current, when utilized as a replacement for a Zener diode-resistor combination.
