ULN2803ADW Product Details
Description
The ULN2803ADW device is a 50 V, 500 mA Darlington transistor array. Eight NPN Darlington pairs make up the component, which has high-voltage outputs with common-cathode clamp diodes for switching inductive loads. Each Darlington pair has a collector-current rating of 500 mA. For larger current capacity, the Darlington pairs may be connected in parallel.
Relay drivers, hammer drivers, light drivers, display drivers (LED and gas discharge), line drivers, and logic buffers are a few examples of applications. Each Darlington pair in the ULN2803ADW device features a 2.7-k series base resistor to allow for direct operation with TTL or 5-V CMOS devices.
