optimized performance is achieved by utilizing the Tape & Reel (TR) package in this voltage regulator. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. As a result of the 260 peak reflow temperature, this regulator is essentially indestructible.
