The TLP292-4 can be operated directly by AC input current and consists of phototransistors optically coupled to two infrared emitting diodes connected in inverse parallel. The extremely compact and thin SO16 packaging holds TLP292-4. The TLP292-4 is appropriate for high-density surface mount applications like programmable controllers since it is guaranteed to have a wide operational temperature range (Ta=-55 to 125 C) and a high isolation voltage (3750 Vrms).
