The PS30-10PC3BR10K is a Slide Potentiometer. If only two terminals, one end of the resistive element and the adjustable contact, are utilized, it functions as a variable resistor or rheostat. Slide potentiometers (Pots) use a resistive element and a sliding contact to provide an adjustable voltage divider.
