OP954 Overview
In order to prevent damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in Radial packages for safety purposes. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse- bias mode continuously, their maximum voltage is 60V. It is important that the reverse-bias voltage of the photodiodes do not exceed 60V continuously. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes. A circuit containing photodiodes can release 100mW heat. A photodiode should not operate at a temperature higher than 100°C. For photodiodes, the minimum operating temperature should be -40°C. As a result of reverse-bias, the photodiodes are able to supply 60V. A photodiode conducts 1nA current without light input.
